I’m a curious writer and lawyer by trade, with a strong interest in climate change, politics and current affairs. Having grown up mainly in New Zealand, where the nickname 'Dot' stuck, my life has seen me live in Belgium, London, France and New York. An explorer at heart, travel lights me up and skiing is my passion.

Sydney is now my home (again) where we are raising our three spirited boys. I started this blog many years ago to satisfy my curiosity about the world and feed my mind. In the fiction world, I have finished writing my first novel and am working on my second.
